LETTER FROM THE CHAIRMAN, Mark P. Noyes, Sheraton Birmingham

On behalf of the Board of Directors of CAHABA, I want to wish you all a very happy and healthy Holiday season.  It is hard to believe that 2011 is almost behind us. Looking back for a minute, I’m truly pleased and certainly grateful for what we have accomplished as a new association in such a short period of time.  Our year began with the excitement of “newness”, finding our purpose, a sense of camaraderie among board members and a membership “in waiting” to see what we were made of and what direction we would take along the journey.

2.  Strong customer service and communication skills

CAHABA Ronald McDonald Wrap Up!

A note from Community Service Chair, Adrienne Whitehurst



CAHABA members and volunteers came together on October 17th, 2011 to support the Ronald McDonald House (RMH) located on 4th Ave. South on the Southside of Birmingham. Often times, families of children who are in Birmingham to receive medical treatment cannot afford a hotel during the duration of treatment. They look to the RMH to provide a place for them to stay during these trying times. Not only does the RMH staff provide a home away from home for these families, they also provide a majority of the food for them. That’s where we come in!
