Event Sales Manager Event Sales Managers (non-game day events) have an exciting role at Regions Field, as they are responsible for generating event sales, building guest relationships, and coordinating Banquet Events Orders (BEOs). Key Accountabilities: • Collaborate with clients to define their vision and needs, to generate positive results for all events. • Coordinate with necessary departments and review the details of the Banquet Event Orders to ensure the event will be executed as the guest has agreed upon. • Document final arrangement with clients on the Banquet Event Order (BEO) sheet. Obtain all specifications and appropriate information concerning the event, including number attending, schedule of event, menu, etc. Collect deposits as required at least 14 days before the event.

SALES MANAGER Reports to: Executive Director Department: Executive Office Status: Exempt CHARACTERISTICS OF WORK: This is administrative work with responsibilities for coordinating, developing, and executing sales functions for all segments of the market. Plans, coordinates, and develops sales strategies to recruit new business for the BJCC complex, to include: conventions, trade shows, consumer shows. Creates bid proposals for prospective events. Negotiates license agreements and financial terms in accordance with internal and legal policies and guidelines. Works with BJCC business partners (Greater Birmingham Convention & Visitors Bureau and Sheraton and Westin Birmingham Hotels) to attract national and regional conventions, corporate and association meetings and sporting events. Expected to travel to make sales calls, as necessary. Work is subject to review through collaboration, conferences and reports to the ED, to whom the employee reports.
