To celebrate the 100 Mentors in 100 Days campaign, Growing Kings and the City of Birmingham will host a Kick-off event at Regions Field on Monday, July 6th at 6:00 pm The FIRST 100 MEN interested in learning more about the organization and how to become a mentor for Growing Kings' school-based enrichment programs will receive FREE ADMISSION Guests will join Growing Kings staff on the party patio at Regions Field for food and drinks, while also having a chance to speak with current mentors, staff, and program students Guests are then invited to enjoy the Birmingham Barons vs Tennessee Smokies game at 7:00 pm  Growing Kings, a non-profit organization that provides mentoring and enrichment services to underserved male youth in Birmingham City schools Growing Kings operates with a mission to encourage and facilitate the critical thinking and positive attitudes of underserved male youth through systemic and targeted enrichment, research, and advocacy

Considering homeschooing?  Starting the homeschool journey?  Need a refresher?  Then, this workshop is for you! This event was formerly called New to Homeschooling and was offered in 6 weekly sessions  We are now offering an all-day event, and several workshops will be held throughout the summer at different areas in Birmingham, AL This is a parents only event with informational sessions that include: Know Your Why (Evaluation of your reasons and philosophy of homeschooling) How Can I Homeschool?
